hey,
you have a pretty cool blog here.

What are your thoughts on prejudice?
is it justifiable - because we "have to live up to principles" even if they are unpleasant/undesirable?
Or should we hold people up to scrutiny on the basis of reason, even if it encroaches on something like religion or political ideology (well the latter of course yes).

(Without turning this into an essay comment, which I am unfortunately likely to do)

I think that pointing out prejudices and even the slightest scent of inequality or persecution is necessary in delaying the next holocaust. Either that or isolationism, but I think you may be a little braver than that.

Personally I don't understand how any sort of inequality is justifiable: seeing as we are simply human beings living life.
How people can judge others because they choose to live their life differently astounds me. At the same time there are some oddballs out there who we should pat on the head and smile condescendingly towards. It isn't hard to accept, it's just hard to combat. As I said, we have a choice: isolation or death by martyrdom.

I think we should all eat children to prevent sickos taking over the world. Could solve the population crises too.

(for those of you without a sense of irony: That was a very tasteless way of showing you that everyone has some weird and twisted nature inside them. I do not want to eat children.)

Where has intelligence gone, if people need to have irony explained to them. Maybe that's just my perception.

Hey man
cool links
I spent last night watching documentaries instead of doing work yay!
That one about the religious family was weird. Like I totally don't agree with what they say or do. But it was interesting to look at them sometimes just as a family and stuff. And I could kind of understand how some of them believe that stuff, the kids and younger girls. It's just completely how they were brought up. It's like any kid brought up into a strong religion, either they break away or they become emersed in it. Except this one's a bit more controversial and offensive than other religions.
I blame the screw-ball grandfather guy for messing up his own generations.
Felt so sorry for that kid who got hit by the drink. That bit was sad.

The one about the guys and dolls was kind of cute in a creepy sort of way. I was like 'ohh poor guys who cant get a girl...at least they can have a doll and pretend" but it was a little weird seeing how much some of them became emotionally involved with them.

Anyway thanks for giving me some alternative intellectual stimulation. Gave me a break from school-learning. This kind of learning is more fun anyway.
